As the CEO of FodaBox, I take great pride in leading an exceptional team of 60 office and warehouse staff. FodaBox (originally BoroughBox) began life as an online marketplace connecting UK consumers with independent food and drink. The ethos behind the business was to build a wider supply chain solution to address the scalability challenges faced by businesses. Today, we have expanded significantly to offer fulfilment services alongside retail and wholesale sales channels. Our fast-growing 3PL division is Fodafilment, where we have become a trusted warehousing and service provider for a diverse range of food, drink and FMCG products. By offering essential D2C and B2B fulfilment services, we have forged enduring and productive partnerships with these brands. Our goal is to be the go-to fulfilment partner in the industry, and we are constantly investing in our physical and digital infrastructure to complement the nuances of handling these types of goods. Our dedicated distribution arm operates in tandem with our 3PL division, providing FMCG brands with a unique and cost-effective opportunity to have a single partner for warehousing and wider distribution. Brands can now move directly from manufacturer to our warehouse to service their orders. Furthermore, we actively promote and represent their products on a trade/wholesale and retail basis. By minimizing the movement of goods, brands can significantly reduce costs and maximise their margins. FodaBox represents a novel and innovative approach to supporting and promoting independent FMCG in both the UK and international markets.
