This perspective—a dreamy optimism that we live in the moment and appreciate everything we have—is so central to both my own work and how I collaborate with my team. I strike a balance between relying on hard lessons learned and starting each new project with a humbleness like it were my first.I consider myself very fortunate to get to do what I do. Coming to UX in a roundabout way, I\'ve had the opportunity to try a wide variety of experiences (and sandwiches). From leading the IA/UX on sprawling, enterprise websites to owning the strategy for the simplest of landing pages, I\'ve been most successful by recognizing I don\'t always have the answers and relying on those smarter than I am. Interdisciplinary to a fault, I don\'t like specialization. Compromise and collaboration are absolutely necessary. I embrace imposter syndrome.Oh, and since you\'re wondering, probably a Reuben, but made with peak summer tomatoes, nothing beats a BLT.
