The Swansea City AFC Foundation is the charitable arm of the Swansea City football club, with an annual turnover of c£1m. The Foundation supports multiple projects across south and west Wales, in partnership with a range of stakeholders including the Premier League, with a particular focus on supporting and helping to develop children and young people from deprived areas and often with challenging circumstances.The Foundation also supports and undertakes a wide range of other charitable activities, including mental health support, community outreach and major capital improvement projects.The Chair of the Foundation is responsible for the effective governance of the charity and chairs the board of trustees and is accountable to the Charity Commission.
