About Andrew Paredes
Hello! My name is Andrew Paredes, and I am a senior at the University of Oklahoma. I am from Tulsa, Oklahoma, and I am on track to graduate in May 2026 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a minor in Political Science. I chose to study journalism and political science because of the duality they present each other, the ever-changing fields they encapsulate, and my passion for reporting, producing and investigating news. My time at the University of Oklahoma has been nothing short of incredible! I have applied myself to many organizations that have advanced my professional and personal interests. I have excelled in academics and community service, continuing habits I have cultivated throughout my life.As I enter the final semester of my undergraduate education, I aim to gain more experience as a reporter and producer and build relations with news stations and industry professionals, both in Oklahoma and around the nation.
