Develops and maintains relationships with key executive branch officials, including officials from the White House, U.S. Department of Agriculture, Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Energy, and others. Represents EDF on various coalitions and identifies and advocates for EDF’s agricultural and forestry policy priorities within these coalitions to find creative pathways that achieve policy goals. Partners with trade associations, think tanks, policy organizations, and NGOs focused on agricultural and transportation issues to achieve goals.Works directly with EDF political and programmatic teams to identify policy goals and strategies to achieve success. Conceives of and drafts funding proposals for C4 political work directly impacting the political strategy and success of lobbying activities.
