I write software.I am responsible for the architecture and implementation of Bindplane, an observability agent management and configuration platform. I have worked in the observability space for over 10 years and am a maintainer of the OpAMP project within OpenTelemetry.I led a team at Blue Medora responsible for the metrics capabilities of BindPlane, sending millions of metrics every minute from customer data centers to partner cloud based monitoring solutions.In my spare time I have developed iPhone applications, connected a Raspberry Pi to my Tesla and Lutron and Hue lighting systems, and have attended and spoken at local technical groups including the Java User Group, aimWest, GRWebDev, BarCamp, GiveCamp, and SoftwareGR. I am also involved in local investments as a member of Grand Angels.I also serve as an advisor to several startups.
