Boylston Properties is a Boston-based developer founded and led by William McQuillan. With almost 40 years of experience, the company has developed a wide range of successful projects, including the development of corporate headquarters, retail, office, residential, labs, mixed-use projects, and hotels. Boylston Properties has focused its efforts in Watertown for over 15 years, starting with a $6 million rehab of biotech laboratory headquarters for VITEX Corporation in late 2012, Boylston Properties purchased 570 Arsenal Street in Watertown, a 1.5-acre site and former home of Charles River Saab. Construction of the property was completed in September 2016, and a new 148-room Marriott Residence Inn opened.In 2013, Boylston Properties, in a joint venture with The Wilder Companies and Jonathan Bush, purchased the Arsenal Mall in Watertown and is currently under construction to create Arsenal Yards. Opening in Fall 2019, Arsenal Yards will include square feet of retail, square feet of office space, 150-room Hampton Inn Suites, and 425 residences. For more information, check out most recent purchase was 490 Arsenal Way in Watertown, an 8.5-acre industrial property transformed into a cutting-edge, LEED Certified Lab Building. Fully leased, tenants began to occupy the building in Spring 2018.
