About Andrew Posner

Twenty years of diverse experience with design, construction, and operations management space in biotech, water treatment and alternative fuels. I have the proven ability to execute projects fromconcept to completion by being a goal-oriented individual who is organized, motivated andwelcoming of new challenges. My leadership roles have shown me how to engage with multipleindividuals amongst several levels of a company, from engineers to the C-suite, in order to completeprojects in a timely fashion.I have gained valuable experience in public speaking and presenting to large groups through providing tours, giving lectures on ecological design principles and being featured on Discovery Science’s “Invention Nation” TV show. Through my master\'s degree, I presented to senior management at GE Water as an unpaid consultant on restructuring their cost savings matrix for increased efficiency. From quick estimates to detailed budgets, I have assembled and tracked budgets for construction and operations including budget forecasting. This work includes RFIs and RFQs from vendors put into bid tabs, used to justify equipment purchases and awarded contracts. Furthermore, I have negotiated aggressive price reductions on service contracts and capital expenditures along with more favorable contract conditions. Using Project and SaaS based PM software, I have formulated detailed schedules to drive critical deliverables and reach milestones on a variety of projects.As a member of the Environmental Counsel, I worked to ensure regulatory compliance of construction projects and routine operations work. I also worked on permit application packages including Storm-water Pollution Prevention Plans, Air and Water Quality Permits, and construction related permitting.Recent projects include construction of a new sq ft combined lab/office corporate headquarters in Bedford, MA and implementation of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software.
