ABOUT ANDREW HOLDING
I lead internationally collaborative research in hormone-driven cancers, combining genome biology, chemical biology, and computational approaches to address complex problems in transcriptional regulation, particularly the regulatory networks of the oestrogen receptor in breast cancer.Alongside my research, I am committed to scientific leadership, interdisciplinary collaboration, and public engagement, including contributions to national scientific leadership and policy-facing initiatives. I regularly speak to schools, community groups, and science festivals in the UK and internationally, focusing on connecting contemporary science to real-world questions and historical perspective.I have broad media experience, including work with Horizon, Cambridge Presents, Cambridge 105 Radio, and the BBC World Service, and I am always happy to receive invitations to speak about my research or science more broadly.I am open to conversations around collaborative research, advisory roles, and initiatives that bridge academia, policy, and industry.
