About Andrew Higgins
A mental health advocate with a fervor for writing; I combined these passions through my various studies in the creative arts and sciences, most notably by writing and producing a musical about mental health and sexual assault. Ambition and creativity are my strong suits. I have earned 3 degrees and majored in six subjects at Miami University, and during my time as an undergraduate I have served as a crisis consultant at a suicide hotline, advocated for sexual assault survivors, conducted research on eating disorders and suicidality, as well as becoming a proficient pianist, composer, and playwright. In graduate school, I earned 2 degrees while serving as a graduate assistant, treasurer, and research assistant. Though an eclectic set of interests, my passions lie predominantly in providing mental health care to clients.
