He didn\'t close it properly (badum tsh).* Whilst jokes like that, and my job title, sometimes mean people won\'t talk to me at parties, I wouldn\'t change it. I\'m a pensions lawyer, so I help pension scheme trustees, providers, sponsoring employers and other organisations navigate their way through legal issues to do with pensions. Whether it\'s defined benefit schemes, defined contribution issues, life assurance trusts, auto-enrolment, investments, contracts, benefit changes, pensions tax, corporate transactions, buy-ins and buy-outs or anything else related to pensions and retirement savings, that\'s what my colleagues at Sackers and I do. Sometimes it can be quite tricky, but it’s very rewarding when you’re able to successfully navigate all the obstacles in the industry and deliver a good end result for members. Retirement should be a great opportunity for people to put their feet up after years of hard work. But that all depends on having a good retirement outcome in terms of income, access and understanding. I\'m passionate about doing my bit to help the industry deliver for pensions savers.Outside of work, I\'m usually doing something car related.
