Since 2006 Viridiant has provided technical support and education to advance sustainable construction across the mid-Atlantic region and has supported the delivery of more than high performance homes to families, primarily under the EarthCraft certification. With the development of innovative services such as energy monitoring and assessment tools, unbiased consultation on emerging energy topics, and more, Viridiant continues to educate and promote energy efficiency and renewables. Viridiant Community Energy Services, launched in 2020, is our new department focused on providing clean energy solutions directly to consumers: home energy audits, energy efficient mortgages, rebates for efficiency upgrades, solar energy consulting, green building design support, and community workshops on climate and energy.
