About Andrew Forrest
I interned at Hayes Magrini Gatewood, where I further honed my legal research and analytical skills. I extensively researched construction contracts, insurance contracts, and construction claims, and I drafted motions and petitions. Additionally, I attended depositions and engaged with supervising partners, who provided me with strategic insights and enhanced my interpersonal skills. I also attended a mediation. I am eager to leverage these skills and experiences to contribute to law firms and learn more about commercial law. My externship with U.S. Magistrate Judge Jason A. Robertson of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma provided me with my first intensive courtroom experience. I wrote a brief on a motion to dismiss in a civil rights case, and observed various federal criminal trial hearings, deepening my understanding of and sparking my interest in federal trial practice. Additionally, working closely with Judges Robertson and Snow allowed me to gain valuable insights into the adjudication of disputes and the practice of law.
