Over my career, I have worn the hats of founder, CTO, architect, and hands-on engineer — often all at once. I\'ve had the opportunity to be the founding engineer or founding CTO for seven early-stage startups, sometimes my own, sometimes as the trusted technical leader for ventures backed by angel investors.Without realizing it at the time, I was operating like a venture studio:Taking raw ideas from investors and foundersPrototyping and validating business conceptsBuilding MVPs and production systemsForming small, scrappy teamsEither spinning out products into full-fledged businesses or returning the lessons learned to the investors.Some of these products became flagship offerings, some pivoted, and some failed — but each one sharpened my ability to navigate ambiguity, move fast, and deliver real, working software.Since then, I\'ve continued to lead and build within enterprise software, cloud platforms, and AI-integrated systems while keeping my love for first-principles prototyping alive.
