ABOUT ANDREW DELSO

I\'m a detail oriented individual with current knowledge in mobile development, and an extensive background in test automation and quality assurance. I have built multiple features using views and compose UI, MVP and MVVM, and both Java and Kotlin in a Android financial application. I have also explored Kotlin multi-platform, Ktor, SQLDelight and Swift UI in my side projects.I have a high drive to succeed as an engineer and as such subscribe to an ideal of continuous improvement. As a result, I am always trying to learn new things either from building side projects, completing coursework or seeking/providing mentorship.Previously, I have built mocking servers as well as API and UI testing frameworks that take maintainability and reusability into account. My background includes developing test cases, test planning, defect writing, and test execution within an agile development setting. My testing expertise includes User Acceptance, Regression, Integration, Mobile and Automation. For previous positions, I was also well versed in Credit Card and Security industries. On the side, I am an Affiliate for Twitch and do variety streams part time of gaming, coding and pixel arts. I also dabble with hobby game development.In a past life, I played rhythm guitar in a local band named Almost Finley. We played multiple local venues for about 3 years and had a lot of fun doing so.
