Pursuing injunctive relief in the High Court on behalf of a Mayfair casino following an employee’s significant misuse and copying of its database. • Advising the HR department of a multinational construction company (with over employees worldwide) on a variety of employment related issues. Particular focus has been on defending employment tribunal claims being brought by former employees pursuing claims of unfair dismissal, sex, race and disability discrimination, sexual harassment and whistleblowing.• Pursuing class action on behalf of ten individuals recover repayment of employment benefits and pension contributions who, over a period of a decade, were wrongly classified as self-employed and not workers. • Advising a broad number of employees and senior executives on all forms of employment law across a broad spectrum of professions, whether they are working in finance, insurance, legal, tech, media, hospitality, music or TV. Particular specialisms include assisting individuals with drafting/raising grievances, navigating disciplinary processes, handling performance improvement processes and negotiating exits / settlement agreements.• Strategically advising employers on bringing about and implementing the mutual exit of its staff via settlement agreements. Recent work has included advising a music rights hedge fund on the amicable exit of its finance director and a brands company reach a settlement with one of its founders.• Advising employers on the enforceability of their restrictive covenants and taking pre-action steps to prevent former employees soliciting and dealing with their customers / clients. Work has included drafting pre-action correspondence on behalf of employers and seeking signed undertakings from employees who are believed to be in breach of contract.
