About Andrew Colello
My career has primarily revolved around data: modeling, transforming, and otherwise interfacing with it in any new and exciting ways that I can learn along the way. My language of choice has always been Python - I am constantly keeping up with its latest features and updates. My greatest strengths reside in writing efficient, succinct schemas and queries that enable data to flow naturally and reliably. I have written large-scale data flows in Python that have interfaced with many different types of databases for a multitude of use cases.Additionally, I have created several full-stack applications from scratch - starting with requirement gathering, throughout data modeling, schema definition, API/UI development, and deployment. I have created REST APIs using Python as well as frontends using modern Javascript frameworks such as React. I have experience moving all sides of the stack to production-ready scalable deployments using CI/CD tools and cloud computing services such as AWS.Avid supporter of free and open source software.
