I bring four key strengths to my best work: empathy to understand customer and partner needs, a keen eye to see what they really need in technical terms, an overriding passion to make good products great, and the tenacity to keep looking for creative and unexpected solutions despite repeated setbacks.I am now focused on making Speechmatics the best speech-to-text product in the market, guiding a technology development team that builds the market-leading core engine that can run everywhere from modest footprint devices to highly scalable cloud services. Our ambitions are not modest!In a previous role I was Architect and then acting Product Manager for Authentication and Identity at Citrix, guiding the development of authentication and single sign-on features across devices, gateways, infrastructure and cloud services for many Citrix products. For years I advised customers, partners and product teams striving to create innovative solutions to technical and business problems, mostly in authentication, identity management, security and mobility. I authored the early blueprint for Citrix Workspace, the cloud service to unify all Citrix products into a secure digital workspace, and helped multiple product teams execute on that blueprint. I have expertise in distributed systems, authentication, single sign-on and identity federation. I know a lot about identity management, application and systems security, enterprise mobility management, and application/desktop virtualization. I enjoy building up my data analysis skills writing analysis programs and simulators to optimise the Speechmatics cloud service.
