In 2019, I began pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where I also held leadership roles within the department. I served as President of the Association for Information Systems (2019–2020) and later as Vice President of the Association for Computing Machinery (2022–2023) student chapters.After graduating, I transitioned into medical research, working with ARM Cortex-M processors to capture and analyze environmental data on research animal conditions. My contributions focused on processing DSP radio frequency sonograms and developing methods to deconstruct and reconstruct them for use in an image classification AI model.Currently, I work at Southern Company, where I leverage my expertise in data structures and memory management to perform contingency analysis across the Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi power grids. In this role, I also help support and optimize a high-performance computing cluster, ensuring it can efficiently handle the large-scale simulations and calculations required for reliable contingency analysis.
