In 2018, I emerged as a top salesperson in my office, helping to lead our team to a record breaking year, and achieving recognition as a top 1% representative nationwide for Vector Marketing. Through this endeavor I learned one very important lesson; success is not just about individual accomplishments but about the internal culture you create. In 2019, I accepted a role as Branch Manager at Vector, overseeing all aspects of a sales branch and leading a team of 20. This role deepened my skills in sales, customer engagement, and understanding team dynamics. I prioritized transparent communication to align the team with our goals and emphasized the importance of a supportive environment during training. Balancing empathy with assertiveness, I cultivated a management style focused on inclusivity, results, and continuous refinement, learning to navigate the delicate balance between support and pushing for excellence.Seeking to broaden my horizons further, I ventured into the dynamic world of startups, joining the packaging company GOPak Flexibles in 2020. This transition exposed me to the intricacies of business operations, emphasizing the creation and implementation of internal SOPs. This experience expanded my understanding of the broader aspects of business management, reinforcing the importance of agility, innovation, and the ability to pivot strategies in response to market changes.
