As a Clinical Associate Professor at NYU and long-time adjunct faculty member at CUNY, I develop and teach advanced courses in crisis management and project management. We provide project management, working with a wide variety of small/medium businesses, non-profit, educational institutions, and governmental organizations, to help them develop cutting edge response systems, training, and exercises to operationalize and enhance their mission critical responses to overcome the impacts of a disaster. Clients and projects include-Working as part of a modified Incident Management Team for the Baltimore City Health Department’sEmergency Operations Center, developed the operational planning cycle, situation reporting, incident action plans for 15 months for pandemic response, and demobilization plan. Supported demobilization and After- Action Review and Improvement plan, including updates to emergency management plan and standard operations guides-Developed two cat. functional exercises and authored 6 new online courses on the Emergency Operations Center for the City of Los Angeles Emergency Management Department-Developed a Crisis Management course for the Sy Syms School of Business at Yeshiva University- Revised the Emergency Operations Plan and Business Continuity Plan; developed a course on CrisisManagement and Business Continuity for Yeshiva University- Developed and delivered a series of training courses in Disaster Preparedness and Crisis Management for Building Superintendents for the SEIU 32BJ Training Fund- Developed courses in Enterprise Risk Management for the Risk Management Society- Conducted a training on Business Continuity for the Hult International School of Business- Authored courses on Social Media in Emergency Management (IS.42.A) and Fraud Awareness andPrevention (IS-38.18) for FEMA.
