WORK HISTORY
Chief Technology Officer @Miller Electric Company
FL, US
I entered the construction industry in 1996 after graduating from the University of Akron with a BS in Civil Engineering. In 2003, I founded SiteSecure as a subsidiary of a construction company where I was working as a project manager building water and wastewater infrastructure. The company grew beyond its utility focus and was eventually acquired by Miller Electric Company in October of 2014. I began my career as a project engineer and now have over 20 years of experience with the design, installation, and service of low voltage technology. My experience has allowed me to now serve as the Chief Technology Officer here at Miller Electric Company. As the CTO, I look forward to fulfilling the Company\'s mission of providing innovative solutions that enhance the quality of service and add value to our clients. I believe it is strategically imperative that Miller continues to invest in technologies, innovations, and process automation that will streamline our operations, enhance employee safety, and optimize our performance capabilities. In doing so, Miller will continue to excel in the areas of electrical and technology contracting, business continuity, and energy & sustainability services. Key responsibilities include:Manage the technology strategy, organizational relationships, financial implications, and business processes associated with Miller\'s Informational (IT) and Operational (OT) technologies. Development of a strategic technology plan by identifying, tracking, evaluating, and experimenting with emerging technology that may be used internally or externally to advance the Company\'s mission of relentlessly delivering excellence. Maintain continuous client engagement to understand the electrotechnology lifecycle of each customer\'s enterprise. Technology obsolescence is both guaranteed and predictable and helping guide clients through the evolution of their operational technology is essential to providing exceptional service.
