About Andrew Baer

With extensive experience in healthcare finance, I do all the things you would expect a corporate finance professional to do – budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, data analysis. you get the picture. But my unique background in multi-site healthcare operations is what gives me an uncommon ability to use the finance function to drive meaningful business results. Having been an operator, I have a knack for what will work with the ops team and what won’t. Having straddled both worlds, I have a way of explaining complex operations and finance concepts to both internal and external constituents, such as JV physician partners, in a way that will actually make sense to them and get them on board with helping us drive the business. Having partnered with business development on countless deals, I know how to model deals out accurately and how to structure the deal strategically to ensure its success. And I’m constantly involved in projects that don’t cleanly land within one particular department because of my innate ability to figure out how to make things work.
