ABOUT ANDREW ANDY YOST
Started Teaching in 1997 in the field of Business at the high school level. Courses taught include-Personal Finance-Computer Applications-Business Law-Entrepreneurship/Management-Economics-Introduction to Business-Desktop Publishing-Web Design-College Computer Applications-Principles of Marketing-Tax Help COI have MS Office Certification in Word and Excel, and am proficient with PowerPoint and Access. I have basic networking knowledge including Active Directory and user Administration.I have been a FBLA Adviser since the beginning of my teaching career, and am proud to have had several students qualify for national competition and three students serve as a state officer for Colorado FBLA.I have successfully coached football for 18 years and basketball for 3 years during my teaching career.Following my retirement from teaching in May of 2022, I worked for Weld County as a Work-Based Learning Navigator for Employment Services of Weld County. My primary goal was to connect employers with talent sources and assist with filling internships, and assisting with apprenticeship development.In February of 2024 I started in my current position with the Bright Futures Program at The Weld Trust. In this role I support Aims and UNC Bright Futures Scholarship recipients in achieving their academic and career goals.
