About Andrew Wetty
I am currently a Staff Accountant with the Washington Commanders. In this role, I support our team with a variety of functions including managing our corporate card program, supporting the processing of invoices and expense reports, as well as assisting with financial audit needs.I graduated in May of 2025 from Georgetown University\'s Master\'s in Sports Industry Management program in the School of Continuing Studies. My coursework explored a wide variety of sports business aspects. My capstone project centered on the changes made to the NBA\'s CBA in 2023 and its impacts on competitive balance. While in this program, I had internships with the USGA\'s Player Relations team and Georgetown\'s Athletic Department in the Compliance office. While in school, I also held multiple accounting roles with both Demie Ventures LLC and Klinger & Klinger, LLP. I supported Demie Ventures accounting consultancy efforts, specifically focusing on the monthly closing process for their clients. With Klinger & Klinger, LLP, I aided their tax accounting efforts, preparing corporate, personal, and estate tax returns during the 2025 tax season.In May of 2023 I graduated from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University. I graduated Cum Laude with a double major in Accounting and Management and a Spanish minor. In addition to my undergraduate studies at Georgetown, I spent five summers working at the Bronxville Field Club.
