ABOUT ANDREW WATSON

A registers HCPC paramedic and British army veteran. I serviced with the 1st the battalion the Royal Yorkshire Regiment / Prince of Wales’s own regiment of Yorkshire. After leaving the regulars I joined the reserves as a combat medical technician serving with 4 York’s and then 335 medical evacuations regiment. I work for the Yorkshire ambulance service NHS trust, and I have interest in pre-hospital care and pre- hospital medicine, immediate care and retrieval medicine. I have worked both private and NHS ambulance services since 2013. I have undertaken training to work at practitioner level, in Emergency and urgent care and continue to work as a practice educator mentoring student paramedic and NQPs. I hold a B.Sc in enhanced pre-hospital care and a PgDip specialist practice (advanced practice). I am now employed as a Specialist Paramedic critical care (SPCC) with Yorkshire ambulance service NHS trust, I am a specialist HEMS Paramedic with the Yorkshire air ambulance. Working as part as a enhance pre-hospital critical care team. Member of the college of paramedics (McPara), faculty of pre-hospital care (FPHC) and the royal college of Emergency medicine (RCEM)I was security trained (SIA) both door supervisor and close protection as well has holding relevant qualifications as papers to work in maritime security.
