Years of progressively increasing responsibility, most recently overseeing a department of 65 as Head of IT Infrastructure Management, culminating with the successful migration of an on-premises data center to AWS Cloud. I spent 15 years developing corporate resilience programs, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery and Crisis Management plans from the ground up. Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, I presented program status and initiatives to the Corporate Board twice annually.My past certifications have included CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Professional) and the AWS Cloud Practitioner certification. In addition to managing projects throughout my career, I have experience leading a Project Management Office (PMO).    My remit for this role was to create a Disaster Recovery (DR) program for the Agency, to include building a governance framework, supporting governance documents and to complete an agency-wide Business Impact Assessment. In addition to completing all of the above, I have built a DR Website on SharePoint to centralize all DR documentation, as well as a disaster management portal. Along the way, I have taken a lead role in helping the organization update its SDLC and CMDB, as well as creating a Disaster Management Plan and conducting exercises to train staff and build awareness of business interruption risks.
