About Andrew Vaccaro

Mr. Vaccaro is a Director of Program Management at Caliber Collision, managing large, cross-functional projects and seeing them to completion. Prior to that, he supported the growth of future body technicians and transitioning veterans from active duty to full time work through the Technician Apprentice Program and Changing Lanes. Prior to Caliber, Andrew was a consultant at Ankura Consulting Group, LLC where he works in the Strategy & Performance practice, primarily on project and program management. He previously worked for the Office of the Chief of Protocol at the Department of State, where he worked on high-level events and credentialing processes for bilateral Ambassadors to the United States. Additionally, within the State Department, Mr. Vaccaro has held several other positions, as a Program Coordinator in the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, a Foreign Affairs Officer detailee to the Bureau of Counterterrorism/Countering Violent Extremisim (CT/CVE), and a pathways intern for the Bureau of Information Resource Management.Prior to the State Department, Mr. Vaccaro interned as a pathways intern in the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Office of External Affairs, a climate and energy security intern at the American Security Project, and a fellow at the Partnership for Public Service.Mr. Vaccaro graduated Cum Laude from Binghamton University in 2015 after completing dual majors in Political Science with a concentration in International Relations, and English with a concentration in Creative Writing. He received his master\'s degree in 2017 from American University\'s School of International Service in the Global Governance, Politics, and Security program with concentrations in Global Security and Counterterrorism/Countering Violent Extremism. At American University, Mr. Vaccaro researched and wrote on a wide range of issues concerning national security and diplomacy, including CT/CVE, environmental and energy security, public diplomacy, and intelligence analysis. He enjoys public speaking, the performing arts, strategic communications, and writing, which, he finds, complement diplomacy and politics quite well.
