ABOUT ANDREW TRUBY FCCT

Andrew Truby is the Chief Executive Officer of St Joseph Catholic Multi Academy Trust, leading a growing family of Catholic schools across the North West.He believes that education exists to enable human flourishing, particularly for children and communities facing disadvantage. Guided by Catholic social teaching, Andrew focuses on building organisations that are calm, purposeful and inclusive, where dignity, service and the common good shape daily practice.Driven by the Trust’s mission to transform children’s lives, his approach to improvement is evidence‑led and people‑centred. He places strong emphasis on empowering leaders through high‑quality professional development, instructional coaching and ambitious, well‑sequenced curriculum design. Reading sits at the heart of the trust’s offer: every child will learn to read, and this commitment informs teaching, leadership and system design across the trust.Andrew is particularly interested in working with headteachers and senior leaders who want to build flourishing schools, develop others and lead with integrity, collaboration and moral purpose.
