Strategic planning, development, and execution of product categories as business transitions from an operational location driven procurement function to a centrally focussed category management model. Procurement subject matter expert for indirect spend including travel, real estate, facilities management, IT, QHSE and HR professional services.Key Accountabilities:• Working closely with internal stakeholders in operations, finance, legal, and supply chain to ensure category strategy aligns with overall procurement strategy and business goals.• Engaging business units and regional stakeholders to prioritise evolving portfolio of high-value process improvement and sourcing initiatives, and challenging the status quo to surface value opportunities.• Driving strategic sourcing cost saving activities including RFx, supplier identification and evaluation, lead negotiations, contract award, implementation and supplier performance management.• Maintaining business intelligence, current knowledge of market trends and supply market dynamics, commodity data, and regulatory guidelines and employ best-in-class procurement methodology for assigned categories.
