I am Senior Application Developer currently working for Humana.I have been in IT and application development for over 35 years starting on mainframes and a Vax. My work experience has included utilities, banking, government and insurance. I currently have over 20 years experience working with the OpenText Exstream toolset with a large emphasis in the Exstream Interactive (LIVE) tool.My entire career has been marked by a desire to meet customer needs and improve processes in efficient, effective and innovative ways. My innovative solutions have helped save countless hours and hundreds of thousands of dollars. I have also won 2 awards for my innovative ideas. When solutions required a toolset I didn\'t know, I took the initiative to learn the necessary skills. Over the years I\'ve done this with Visual Basic, SSRS Reporting, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), PowerShell and much, much more. I am also Green Belt certified. My Green Belt project automated a process improving FPY from 13% to 93%, reduced the defect rate from >4 to <1 and reduced time spent from 37 to 10 minutes.I am also a good communicator. I\'ve achieved the designation of Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) and currently teach on a regular basis.
