About Andrew Spokes
I take a “fix things once” approach to IT problems. Temporary fixes, while sometimes necessary, are not efficient in terms of a return on total time investment. This approach extends past “problems” and into daily routine – if there are repetitive and easily quantified tasks, the time spent automating or documenting them is quickly repaid and can be spent on more unique problems. I constantly explore new avenues of knowledge and prefer a position where I can adapt to new challenges. I work well either independently, or as part of a team. I excel at communicating with others, both technical and nontechnical, and enjoy team collaboration.
