ABOUT ANDREW SOLOMON
I’m a Nova Scotia–based entrepreneur focused on building high-performance home-service brands and developing leaders who think bigger. I own and operate the Rydel Roofing and Deckify franchises in Halifax, and I serve as Vice President of Growth for our national franchise group (Elevate Construction Group)— helping launch new service lines, expand across Canada, and design the systems that will take us to $250M+ and beyond.Over the past five years, I’ve been an integral part of growing Rydel & Deckify from 4 founding locations to 26+ franchises nationwide. My work spans strategy, brand expansion, financial architecture, and turning bold ideas into durable, scalable businesses. Locally, I’m building my Halifax operations into a lean, vertically integrated, profitable model with the strongest projected bottom line since inception. At the center of everything I do is people. I’m a husband and father first, and my long-term vision is rooted in creating meaningful livelihoods for families — including my own. My BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal) is to create meaningful jobs in Nova Scotia in workplaces people actually want to be part of. Building strong, lasting relationships is a core part of how I lead, hire, and grow teams. I care deeply about connection, trust, and helping people push their own boundaries. I have a tendency to see the greatness in individuals before they see it in themselves and believe my job, as a leader, is to help them see it themselves.I’ve completed large-scale endurance challenges such as The Big Tri — a 550 km triathlon from Cape Breton to Halifax completed in 56 hours, raising over for Big Brothers Big Sisters. I bring the same mindset to business: ambitious goals, disciplined execution, and a belief that people thrive when operating just outside their comfort zone.Focus Areas:• Business development & new service line launches• Franchise expansion & operational strategy• Financial modeling, valuation & equity design• Leadership coaching & culture building• Roofing, siding, decking, windows & doors, and emerging home-service verticals• High-performance routines & personal developmentIf you\'re interested in building something big, launching a new home-service brand, exploring partnership opportunities, or connecting on leadership, performance, or entrepreneurship — I’m always open to a conversation.
