Bigbang Anchor

After approximately 10 months with the Bigbang Value Stream at Platform One, I was promoted to Anchor, a leadership role responsible for driving technical direction, roadmaps, and execution. In this capacity, I proposed, planned, decomposed, and integrated key technical initiatives, while also reviewing and testing the work of contributors. I led onboarding and training efforts, helping new team members adapt to Bigbang\'s culture and architecture, and reviewed merge requests for final integration into the umbrella Helm chart. Anchors also manage release creation, notes review, and final sign-offs.In collaboration with internal Value Stream leadership, I planned, implemented, and reviewed initiatives to improve team processes, including reworking pipelines, team reorganization, and maintenance lifecycle management. Anchors represent the Value Stream both within Platform One and the wider Bigbang community, facilitating communication across Mattermost, Slack, GitLab, and with external parties as needed. I coordinated technical and resource concerns between Value Stream and Platform One leadership, solicited feedback, and translated it into actionable work for the team.
