WORK HISTORY
Senior Research Scientist @University of Maryland Baltimore County
Greenbelt, MD, US
Continuation of previous role with USRA]As the NASA PACE mission\'s Project Science Lead for OCI Atmospheres, it\'s my job to make sure that the mission\'s required atmospheric data sets (assorted aerosol and cloud properties) are produced, documented, and have their uncertainties quantified. Sometimes that means developing my own algorithms to determine these properties, and sometimes it involves working with scientists within NASA\'s funded PACE Science and Applications Team (which I\'m also Deputy Lead of). I also support team members working with PACE\'s polarimeters and in our lab\'s other disciplines - ocean colour and land surface properties - chiefly with atmospheric modeling/atmospheric correction, uncertainty propagation, and error analysis. This position is based on-site at NASA\'s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD. I am employed under the Goddard Earth Sciences, Technology, and Research (GESTAR) II cooperative agreement by the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
