I am a tax attorney by trade and creative problem solver by practice. Utilizing tax insurance, I help clients protect themselves from financial losses in the event of a challenge by a taxing authority. I aim to make my client’s lives easier by anticipating their needs and proactively offering solutions. Although challenges may arise, I always ensure a smooth process from start to finish.My background as an attorney with an M&A focus allows me to assist clients from a technical perspective and to also be commercial by always seeing the big picture. Clients and advisors call me when there is a:(1) tax issue holding up an M&A transaction;(2) tax opinion or memo that helps save clients significant tax dollars;(3) doubt regarding the IRS’ position on a particular matter;(4) valuation or cost segregation prepared for tax purposes; or (5) client is in active controversy with a taxing authority.On a personal note, I am an adoring husband to Kayla,#1 dad to Noah and Emmy, and best friend to our dog Parker. Passionate University of Maryland alumnus (Go Terps!) and proud Bills, Knicks and Yankees fan. When I am not fighting for clients you may find me traveling the world to taste local cuisines, teeing it up with friends at a local course, gliding down the side of a mountain, or brushing up on history (usually in the form of a historical fiction novel).
