ABOUT ANDREW RICHMOND

A pragmatic engineer specialising in the numerical analysis of complex soil-structure interaction problems. Andrew has a wide range of experience in the design and analysis of geotechnical structures including deep excavations, retaining walls, slopes, deep foundations and shallow foundations. He has worked across a number of sectors, particularly Transport (Rail), Energy and Maritime, in the UK, Middle East, Asia and Australia. Andrew is a Chartered Engineer and Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (CEng MICE) and is currently Chair of the Northern Geotechnical Group (NGG), affiliated with the ICE and BGA. He is also a member of the Register of Ground Engineering Professionals (RoGEP).
