ABOUT ANDREW RAMSEY
Former university academic now turned conservation professional with \'Buglife\', the Invertebrate Conservation Trust. Highly experienced in ecology and conservation and wrote the UK\'s first undergraduate degree in \'Conservation Biology\'. Research interests include biodiversity conservation in cultural ecosystems, especially from interdisciplinary perspectives, and strategies to increase engagement with the natural world. Research outputs include applications of species ecology, especially in forest and freshwater systems as well as wider applications of value systems to biodiversity conservation. Successful PhD supervisor; Substantial experience of developing and managing both teaching and research in university settings.
