ABOUT ANDREW R. ALLEY

I am an attorney and Certified Public Accountant with experience representing U.S. and multinational corporations, as well as private equity firms, in cross-border mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, growth and venture equity investments, and other strategic transactions. My practice also includes work with social enterprise and impact investing. I started my legal practice as a transactions associate at Morrison Foerster (MoFo) in San Francisco and previously served as a legal extern for a commercial space company in San Jose, a summer associate at MoFo, and participated in the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Scholars Program, working in the Chief Counsel’s Office of the Division of Investment Management.I hold a J.D. from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, where I worked with Chicago-based startups through the Donald Pritzker Entrepreneurship Law Clinic. I was a senior editor for the Journal of International Law and Business, a member of the Federalist Society, and completed the San Francisco Immersion Program, a collaborative initiative with Kellogg School of Management. I also served on the Class Gift Committee and then a three-year term on Northwestern’s Young Alumni Council after graduation.My academic background includes a Master of Accountancy and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee. I began my career in Ernst & Young’s Financial Services assurance practice in Atlanta and am a licensed CPA in Georgia.
