For the past twenty-seven years, I have proudly protected and served the residents and visitors of Wethersfield, Connecticut as a Police Officer. I am honored to have a distinguished record of promotions, increased responsibilities, and excellence in high profile situations. I am currently the Commander of the Detective Division. I am also the Co-Commander of the Mid-State Major Crime Squad (towns of Berlin, Cromwell, Newington, Rocky Hill and Wethersfield Police Departments). My career is characterized by providing leadership, innovation and excellent operational management to improve the effectiveness and delivery of police services to the citizens. I have extensive experience conducting and administering criminal and administrative investigations at multiple supervisory levels, and I have expertise in critical incident management. I supervised Freedom of Information requests and releases, and I served as the Department’s Public Information Officer. In 2001, I received a Unit Citation Award for Distinguished Service. Over the course of my career I have had frequent collaboration with other law enforcement professionals (local, state, federal), US Attorneys, States Attorneys and Corporation Counsel. I’m proud of the excellent service, training and community outreach I have provided to my community.
