As Chairman of the Alberta Food Processors Association (AFPA), I provide strategic leadership and oversight to support the continued growth, innovation, and resilience of Alberta’s food and beverage processing industry. AFPA is a non-profit, industry-led organization that represents food and beverage manufacturers across the province — from early-stage producers to large-scale processors — providing members with resources, training, advocacy, and networking opportunities.In my role, I work closely with industry stakeholders, government partners, and fellow board members to champion the interests of the sector. My focus includes guiding strategic initiatives in areas such as workforce development, food safety, sustainability, and supply chain optimization, while ensuring the association remains a strong, forward-looking voice for Alberta’s agri-food industry.
