Responsible for mentally and physically performing every day to help contribute to my team’s success on and off the field- Visit over 500 schools, teams, and events on behalf of the Lions and our sponsors to communicate various important topics including gender-based violence, racism, cyberbullying, and others- Nominated in 2019, 2021, 2023, 2024 and 2025 by my teammates for the Tom Pate Memorial Award which is awarded to a player with outstanding sportsmanship and someone who has made a significant contribution to his team and his community. Grateful to have won in 2025.

ABOUT ANDREW PEIRSON
I’m grateful to have built a career that blends professional athletics, business, and finance while giving back to the community.Now in my 7th season with the BC Lions of the CFL, I’ve learned the importance of discipline, teamwork, and resilience in high-pressure environments. Off the field, I’ve had the privilege of speaking at 200+ schools, coaching youth teams, and supporting grassroots programs—recognitions like the Jamie Taras Community Service Award (2019, 2021, 2023, 2024) and CFLPA Tom Pate Award (2025) are a reflection of those opportunities, not just my efforts.In business, I co-founded Hippoh, an investor-backed food and beverage app to help users find their watering holes where I focused on sustainable growth, fundraising and market expansion. Academically, I hold dual degrees in Finance and Entrepreneurship (minor in Marketing) from Gannon University. I am progressing through the CFA program (Level I, 90th percentile; currently preparing for Level II) while playing professional football.I try to live by FAW or “Find A Way” which is a reminder to stay persistent, adaptable, and humble, whether on the field, in business, or in life and get the job done. I’m always open to connecting with others in finance, entrepreneurship, and community leadership to share ideas and explore opportunities to grow together.
