I collaborate with F5 business units, Global Procurement, and Finance to manage vendor selection, onboarding, and metadata strategy. I focus daily on negotiating, structuring, and delegating contracts establishing and supporting business partnerships with vendors. I oversee and streamline vendor performance, including compliance, to ensure alignment with the company’s specifications and expectations. I deliver reports on key metrics measuring the value of operations and overall cost savings. Attained promotion to Sourcing Manager role due to the acquisition of Volterra, supported the new team, and surpassed expectations regarding regular job duties. Focused on results to maximize efficiency by using sourcing procedures. Project Manager (global role) on sourcing and procurement side for data centers managing all hardware, connectivity, and space needs; supervised vendors across 7 other countries and various areas in Asia, EU, and India. Established reputation for helping set up private cages with data centers across all procurement facets, including vendor contracts, details, and negotiations; assisted in 15-20 private cage setups and ~15-20 data center locations globally (largest being a 23-25 rack cage). Leveraged emotional intelligence, coupled with experience, to help the company progress toward saving $1M between negotiations with major suppliers such as Dell, Equinix, and Spirent. Conducted Diverse Supplier Reporting for 8-10 key customers (JPMC, Verizon, ATT, Dell, Mastercard, etc.), completing quarterly reports for vendors and forming growth plans to increase diverse supplier spend; reported metrics to CFO quarterly. Trained employees on different procurement and legal processes to improve their overall professionalism and efficiency; supported the new requisition tool company-wide through training guides and spearheaded global training events for employees.
