ABOUT ANDREW MUNGER
I am a content creator with nearly thirty years of unscripted and documentary production experience as an award winning director, writer, and producer. I have extensive experience shooting– from Cambodia to Kinshasa, and Nicaragua to New York. Presently I’m My current an in-house producer and Director of Unscripted Development at White Pine Pictures in Toronto. a 40 year old, boutique production company led by Peter Raymont. I oversee everything from blue chip, feature documentaries to commercial, factual series, and work closely with as independent filmmakers. Independent films through my company include Make Some Noise (TIFF, winner of Best Canadian Short) Wal-Mart Nation (CBC), Campaign (CBC), and Xanadu (CBC). I’ve had the good fortune to work closely with two of Canada’s most respected documentary filmmakers, the late Michael Maclear (Viet Nam – The Day War) and Peter Raymont (Guantanamo’s Child, Hearts of Hate). As a freelance “director for hire” I directed numerous episodes of documentary series including History’s Courtroom (History Channel) and Flightpath (Discovery). For five years I travelled the world as as the Manager of Television Production at World Vision Canada, Canada’s largest non-profit organization.
