SolarGen Energy Ltd was predominantly set up as the name suggest to carry out solar Photovoltaic installations like the 300+ installed for Wigan and Leigh housing in late 2011. We are now covering many construction projects for numerous housing associations to whole house regeneration projects & New build housing estates. We currently fit authorised 100DP and four pole isolators enabling safe isolation for following on electricians for various housing associations throughout the Northwest such as Bolton @ Homes under a MOCOPA banner, we can fit them anywhere in ENW DNO area and two of the Western Power areas I.e. East & West of Nottingham. We are also working with one of only 16 MOCOPA register companies in the country fitting electricity meters on behalf of one of the big six energy suppliers. This is in preparation for our engineers to become dual fuel meter fitters and the Smart meter roll out across the country. SolarGen in the past 5 years has managed to secure places on numerous frameworks throughout the Northwest & Cumbria varying from house refurbishment to large new build housing projects as well as solidifying existing working relationships with varying building contractors ranging from large nationwide companies to up and coming Northwest ones. We are also proud to say we are one of a few companies to have the privilege to work direct for British Gas carrying out Solar PV projects throughout the country.Over the past few years SolarGen has built a reputation of giving a personal touch to any contract it has been awarded & that it can mobilise labour/plant quickly to suit clients needs/time-scales & has always completed projects within time and on budget.
