My current role at Prodigy is Director Ecommerce & Parent products.In this capacity I directly manage a team of two product managers and report to the CEO. I support the ongoing improvement of Prodigy\'s Ecommerce products (membership landing pages, checkout flow, payment facilitation) and the new development of Prodigy\'s Parent app. In this role I continue to support the organization\'s strategic goal setting, coach and develop product managers, set up and guide the OKR planning process, act as hiring manager for key roles with our recruiters, help set the criteria for professional advancement within the organization, and communicate all important product updates to other stakeholders.Within the Ecommerce space specifically, I have planned and help launched several key initiatives, from continuing to plan how Prodigy will effectively sell multiple products, to launching Prodigy\'s discounting system and strategy, to enabling customers to pay with various alternative payment methods, to introducing new products for the team to use (multi-armed bandit testing), to negotiating important contracts with key vendors (like Stripe). In addition to this, I am responsible for ensuring our long-term roadmaps continue to ladder up to our company\'s objectives, and tracking sales metrics. Within the Parent product, I work with the PM and other triad members, to develop and pursue a successful product strategy that is directly linked to Prodigy\'s business objectives - in this case, validating Parent engagement results in more in-game child engagement. Within this role I help ensure all work remains tightly connected to Prodigy\'s larger strategy, that updates are continually released, and many other tasks related to ensuring the success of the new app.
