In this this role i have managed up to 130 colleagues. I take great pride in doing my job to deliver excellent results through a team.I liaise with external agencies to ensure the day and night operation has effective deployment of agency staff resources.I oversee day to day operation\'s to ensure they run smoothly and effectively.Thisincludes planning the shift deployment of colleagues and monitoring the progression of each department. I carry out listening groups and briefing sessions to keep colleagues up todate on where the company is going and on any new policies.I particularly enjoy engaging with the colleagues to gain an insight into their experience and any ideas they may have to improve the operation.Along with the fresh chamber i also have gained experience inrunning other departments (bread,RRU and goods in).I constantly work with Key Performance Indicators to ensure that the correct amount of staff are used for the tasks that lay ahead, looking at cases per attended hour, and performance. Working on situations that arise and deal with them efficiently, whether it is because of late deliveries, sickness or absence and to ensure that we are not left short of resources for the nights work.I constantly look at the performance of colleagues, and of their development, try to make sure that they learn new skills, whether it is training on any MHE or stepping into more senior roles.

I have over 22 years experience as a Manager. It is a role I relish and always try toperform to the highest possible standard.
