About Andrew Matson
I currently work as the Senior Process Engineer for Reset Energy LP, a design, equipment packaging, and installation company for the renewable, downstream, midstream, and upstream energy industries. I formerly worked in Process Engineering at the PEMEX Deer Park (formerly Shell) Refinery in Deer Park, Texas, with primary experience in Hydroprocessing, Sulfur Recovery, and Aromatics Separation. I am a former student-athlete at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech), graduating with Highest Honor with a Bachelor\'s Degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering in May of 2020. I aim to contribute to a thriving energy transition by committing to safe, efficient, robust, and reliable engineering designs. I am excited to meet the increase in global energy demand, while also making that energy cleaner and more accessible.

Reported to VP of Conventional Technologies Kelley LaRue.Developed process design and equipment package proposals, including process simulation, equipment sizing and specification, line, controls, instrumentation, and relief device sizing for the following systems:• Amine treating systems ranging from 1 MMSCFD - 500 MMSCFD and 55 gpm - 1400 gpm, utilizing a variety of solvents and including low pressure and carbon capture applications.• Glycol and molecular sieve dehydration systems ranging from 1 MMSCFD - 210 MMSCFD, 7 gpm - 48 gpm, and 0.25 MMBTU/hr - 3 MMBTU/hr, in both natural gas and carbon dioxide applications.• Condensate stabilization systems ranging from 100 bbl/d to bbl/d, including the stabilization of waste condensate regenerated from a mol sieve application for the adsorption of water and heavy hydrocarbons.Managed the development of engineering packages for the above systems, including the production of PFDs, P & IDs, Heat and Material Balances, Cause and Effect Diagrams, Equipment, Control Valve, Instrument, and Pressure Relief Valve Datasheets, Utility and Flare Load Summaries, Process Descriptions, etc.
