Hi There! My name is Andrew Masciarelli. Throughout my life, I’ve learned that one of my greatest strengths is that I’ll always dare to see the world through the lens of possibility. I actively strive to apply this perspective to anything I set my mind to!As a first-generation college student, I sought to pursue studies that could open the door for others like me. At the crux of my passion for economics are the notions that a better, more equitable world is attainable and that a rich understanding of markets and policy can help fuel the fight for this future. Through my studies in courses that explore complex issues, such as economic data analysis, sustainable development, and urban economics, I’ve worked to establish intuitively, analytically, and quantitatively sound foundations for problem solving. This trifecta in my learning has proven paramount in conducting research and interpreting data in an effective, detail-rich, and results-driven manner. Going further, my mission to deliver to a high standard manifests in beyond solely my academic endeavors.My determination, optimism, and acumen have led to my recruitment as a research assistant, private tutor, and financial data analyst. The diverse professional work experiences I’ve undertaken have provided me with a coalescence of valuable skills that make me adept and capable of facing challenging tasks that come my way.In any position, I seek to shed light on complex issues, maximize collaborative efficiency, and face the unknown with ardor.
