ABOUT ANDREW MAKRIDES

I’m an Accounting student at Baruch College with a strong interest in financial reporting, taxation, and related fields; dedicated in my pursuit of eventually becoming a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). My academic experience has given me a solid foundation in accounting principles, financial analysis, and business ethics, and I’m eager to apply this knowledge to real-world challenges.I’m passionate about using accounting not just as a technical skill, but as a tool for transparency, strategic decision-making, and business growth. As I work toward CPA eligibility, I’m actively seeking opportunities to expand my practical experience. Whether through internships, mentorship, or hands-on projects, I\'m always seeking new opportunities that will allow me to learn from professionals in the field and contribute meaningfully to a team.Colleagues and professors might describe me as detail-oriented, curious, and trustworthy, with a drive to continuously learn and improve.
